What to wear at Downtown Banya

Similar to the requests of many other pools and saunas, we ask that you please provide your own swimsuit. We provide slippers and two large towels. We also provide shampoo, hair conditioner and body wash. All personal toiletries and accessories may be used if preferred, however. If you would like a robe, feel free to ask the attendant. We also highly recommend that you consider utilizing sauna hats for the ultimate experience. Sauna hats and other accessories are available for purchase inside the lobby.

Last and not least, we’d like to mention that no banya experience would be complete without a venik. Veniks are sold in our lobby and usually have a lifespan of 2 to 3 visits depending on how wicked a slapping you prefer. If you have any further questions regarding the venik, please feel free to ask a staff member at any time or visit our Venik 101 section.
